CLUTCH CARLOS!
Not a big recap tonight, because it just seems like a weird way to walk off. Bottom line though... a walk off happened, and the Yankees won.
It all started with Nasty Nate Eovaldi. He went 8 innings, allowed just 4 hits and 0 runs in this outing. He was outstanding. In fact, Eovaldi has been the most effective Yankee pitcher right now. Fact. Nate was followed by Andrew Miller, who got the win tonight, because of the walk off.
How did the walk off happen? Simple. In the bottom of the 9th, Carlos Beltran hit a sacrifice fly to center field. With that hit, the catch, the tag and Brett Gardner scored. Just like that... Yankees win.
I will take every win we can get right now. We need to stay on track.
Final: Yankees 1 - Astros 0
