WE WON ONE AGAINST MIAMI

Sorry for the silence for the past 24 hours.  Family calls and it was damn fun.  But now I'm back, just in time for a Yankee win.

Michael Pineda pitched and Michael Pineda looked great.  In fact, Pineda had a no hit bid going until the 7th.

Overall, he gave up 1 hit and 1 run, a home run and struck out 9.

The Yankees scored 2 runs, just enough to win it... one run in the 1st, one in the 5th.

Alex Rodriguez singled driving in Chase Headley in the first.  In the 5th, it was Carlos Beltran singling knocking in Headley. We may have had another but ARod was thrown out at home.  Hey, you gotta appreciate the effort.

Not a lot to say other than I liked what I saw from Pineda, the Yankees at least won 1 of 3 from the Marlins so far, and the Yanks are in second place, and need to step that up.

Lets get rolling here!

Final: Yankees 2 - Marlins 1
