WHITLEY LIKELY DONE

Remember when Chase Whitley left the game the other night with some issue involving his elbow? Well, he'll most likely need Tommy John Surgery.

According to Bryan Hoch, "Chase Whitley has been diagnosed with a partial tear of his ulnar collateral ligament... an MRI examination confirmed the tear. Whitley will be evaluated by team physician Dr. Chris Ahmad in New York on Monday.

'It's not what you want, obviously,' Girardi said. 'You've got to deal with it. It's all over the game. That's what it is. As an organization, you try to prepare the best way you can by having depth. With some of the guys going down, we have guys coming back.'"

I feel for the guy.  He had a chance to really do some great things this year.  I guess now if he goes under the knife, we'll see him next year.  It's just nuts to me, but it's happening more and more these days.
