HAMMERIN' AARON JUDGE KEEPS YANKS ALIVE IN OPENER

The Yankees played the Phillies today in the first Spring Training game of the season.  Meanwhile in the Northeast... it's snowing.

There were 2 big things that happened today worth noting.  Adam Warren, who started, went 2 innings of scoreless ball and the Yankees made a last minute comeback scoring 4 runs in the 9th, that included Aaron Judge cranking out a 3 run home run.

The game, ended in a 5-5 tie.  I know what you're thinking.  Baseball doesn't end in ties.  It does in Spring Training.

Look, I don't care much about Spring Training, but this game is significant for a few reasons... the Yankees made a come back, and they kids were used and they shined.  I'm looking forward to seeing more Aaron Judge. Maybe now Yankee brass will start opening their eyes and starting keeping youth around like they did when the Core Four was invented.  Today was a good example of that.

Yankees 5 - Phillies 5
