The Yanks signed righty pitcher Jared Burton.
According to CBSSports.com:
"...Yankees signed RHP Jared Burton to a minor league deal on Monday, with an invitation to the Major League camp... Burton will make $2 million, if he spends the year on the Yankees roster. There are four opt-out dates, where Burton can request to be released, if he's in the minor leagues: March 30, June 1, August 1 and August 31."
Stockpiling arms. Nothing wrong with that.
