JOBA IS RETURNING TO MOTOWN
Just wanted to keep you all in the loop about our buddy Joba Chamberlain. Turns out after alot of rumor of him being pursued by the Los Angeles Dodgers, well, that's not happening. Joba signed a 1 year deal with the Detroit Tigers.
Ken Rosenthal has the story. Hardball Talk writes:
"Joba Chamberlain has had a long offseason and had no team when pitchers and catchers reported last week. He has one now, however, reports Ken Rosenthal: the Detroit Tigers, where he spent 2014. He’s signed on a one-year, major league deal pending a physical."
People can rank on Joba all they want. I have always been a Joba fan and I'm glad he was able to latch onto his former team. I just keep rooting for this guy to do great things... maybe this year is his season.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but Joba needs a comeback year!
Good luck friend.
