CHASE HEADLEY IS ON THE DOCKET

If you didn't know already, this short post is to remind you.  The Yankees still like Chase Headley and want him to come back to the Bronx.  They do NOT want him to come back to the Bronx at 4 years and $65 million.  From what I am able to find out, that story was floated by his agent and picked up by Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports. Read WAS THAT $65 MILLION OFFER TO HEADLEY MADE UP?) Of course... if Headley does sign somewhere for that amount... good for him... he ain't worth it.

In the meantime, I just wanted to pass this along to Yankee fans. It's from Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports who credits Jon Heyman of CBS Sports:

 That's all I got.

Here's the bottom line, if Headley and the Yankees can come up with a reasonable deal, Headley will be  back at 3rd for the Yankees.  Yanks won't go more than 3 and definitely not $40 million.  That might be insane.  The biggest worry? His back.  Stay tuned.
