THE POSADAS & THE PROJECT FOR AWESOME CAMPAIGN

There is no secret that we love and appreciate the Posada family here at Bleeding Yankee Blue.  Laura has been an incredible supporter of us and we value that friendship.  Meeting both she and Jorge at the honoring of Jorge at the Joe Torre Gala was dynamic.  Even my wife was blown away. So, in the spirit of giving, or generosity, I am happy to make you aware of a special cause.

Laura posted this on her Facebook yesterday.  The cause is THE PROJECT FOR AWESOME 2013 and it's to raise money for the Children's Craniofacial Association. We all know about the horrible ordeal that the Posadas went through with Jorge Jr. and I have always extended a hand to them in support of helping to raise money for research and awareness.  Now, Bleeding Yankee Blue will also post this link on our website in the hopes that you will consider a donation to helping these children. Let me also state that this was done independently by me.  I made this decision and was in no way solicited or persuaded by Laura.  She doesn't do that.   I did it because I wanted to help and when you watch this video below, you will realize just how important it is to help these kids.

It's the holiday season.  People need help. Find your cause and give back this season.  Hey, maybe this cause isn't for you.  Maybe there is another one you subscribe too, that's fine.  All BYB is saying is, consider it an option, especially if you want to donate money this year.

It's support... Do what you can. If you have children, you know you want to do anything you can to help your kids.  Watch the PSA.  Donate if you believe in the cause.
