HUFF BUMPS HUGHES FROM ROTATION

Success is earned.  Remember that the next time you wonder why a move was made on the Yankee roster and you aren't exactly clear why.  Now, I will tell you, everyone knows why David Huff replaced Phil Hughes in the rotation. He earned it. Every appearance he's made for the Yanks as of late has been a good one.  Meanwhile, Phil Hughes just doesn't have it anymore.  Some would argue he never had it...

It's being reported that Huff is in, Hughes is out.  CBSSports.com writes (HERE), " Phil Hughes is moving to the bullpen while David Huff takes over his rotation spot -- getting the start Saturday against the Red Sox -- manager Joe Girardi told reporters Tuesday.

Huff, 29, is 2-0 with a 1.13 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 11 strikeouts in 16 innings this season for the Yankees."

I have always liked Hughes in the pen.  Maybe this is a good thing.  Maybe he can save his job in pinstripes... who knows.

Congrats to David Huff, you earned it... now go get'um!
