AROD APPEAL STARTS SEPTEMBER 30TH

I hate stating the obvious in a BYB title.  90% of you will read it and never crack open the article.  The fact is, I just wanted to bring this to your intention because there was such a huge ordeal made that MLB and how they were "Going to slap all these players with fines and send a  real message for PEDs use." THIS TIME IT WAS SERIOUS!, the media stated. And still, Alex Rodriguez is playing baseball, waiting for his appeal. The others who were caught and fined will disappear and come back with a clean slate and in the end, NOTHING has been done by MLB.  Bud Selig does what he normally does... continue to do his job "half-assed."  I picture him standing at the All-Star game declaring a "Tie", just so he could go home and go to sleep.  I clearly think he's horrible.  There's never been a tie in baseball, why start? I knew he would be a problem...

Anyway, ESPN's Andrew Marchand writes (HERE), " Alex Rodriguez's appeal of his 211-game suspension is scheduled to begin Sept. 30... Because Rodriguez has the right to be present for the hearings in front of arbitrator Fredric Horowitz, the process could be postponed if the Yankees still are playing. The team entered Friday night 2½ games behind the Tampa Bay Rays for the second wild card in the American League... A source said the hearings are expected to take place in New York. An announcement on whether Rodriguez's suspension -- stemming from the Biogenesis and performing-enhancing drug scandal -- is reduced is not expected until after the World Series."

So there you have it.  Nothing earth-stattering, but a news item you needed to know about.

Now let's get a win today boys, huh? Come on now!
