This story is interesting and funny all in one. According to Sweeny Murti of WFAN,
Troy Glaus reached out to the Yankees when it was revealed that
Alex Rodriguez needed hip surgery. Read
HERE. It appears Glaus was looking to make a comeback and I guess the thinking on Troy's part was,
"Hey, the Yankees take old guys, what about me?"
Glaus is a 36 year old that stopped playing ball in 2010. Hey... we got
Youk, we're good. Besides, he's young... he's 33.
