THE YANKEES MAY HAVE LOST, BUT BYB WINS

Just a quick note. You guys are very loyal on reading Bleeding Yankee Blue and as fans of the Yankees as well! We watched as a family as our 25 men played all season and then in the playoffs. Sure, we didn't win. Sure, some would say we didn't even show up in the ALCS, but we're the Yankees and we got there.

Despite what Nick Swisher thinks, we are great fans and we are never to blame for a player's performance. We just expect to win and no one can fault us for that after all time and money we spend on this team. Sure, it's a shame that we're out of it, but I just wanted you all to know that this season was a lot of fun and I am thrilled that you enjoyed our writers and our blog. We grew big time this year because of you all.  

But now, we carry on...life goes on, and... how many days until pitchers and catchers again?
