Just when everyone thought Pedro Feliciano would never pitch in a real game for the New York Yankees, something happened. Pedro Feliciano believed and in turn, worked his tail off and word on the street is we would see him in September.
Newsday's David Lennon says that Saturday Pedro made another rehab appearance and pitched a scoreless inning in his 3 rehab start in the Gulf Coast League. Read Lennon's piece HERE.
It's amazing to think that since Feliciano was signed, he hasn't pitched for the team yet. Remember, he signed a 2 year, $8 million deal with the Yanks and then had to undergo surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, read HERE.
Now, after his long road, i need to tell you... having another lefty in the pen with Boone Logan and Clay Rapada could actually happen and damn, it's a win, win for both the Yanks and Feliciano! So yeah, would I vote for Pedro right now? I would. This guy has proven everyone wrong and if we can see this guy in 2012 it'll be a real accomplishment no doubt. Good for him, I really hope he makes it to the Bigs again.
