Today, at a rookie level Gulf Coast League game this afternoon Ty Hensley pitched in his pro debut. He went 2
innings and allowed 3 runs, 4 hits and walked 2. Hey, game 1 is in the books and I’m just glad
the Yankees got this kid. Over time
there will be improvement. No doubt he
had butterflies and according to his mother, he hadn't pitched in a game since May 9th, so he was glad to get this one out of his way. Read that Tweet below:
Kiley McDaniel of ESPN says that Hensley touched 95 mph but
ranged between that 90 and 93 range in his 2 innings. Read that tweet HERE. Ty also threw 3 pitches, Fastball,
curve ball and change up. Atta boy. Anyway, good one by RAB today, give credit where credit is due.
