Bleeding Yankee Blue is trying to do something special, we want
to give back and we chose David And Erin Robertson’s foundation, High Socks for
Hope to do that with, read that in
WHY I BELIEVE IN HIGH SOCKS FOR HOPE. To put it simply,
we decided to give $1 for every strikeout DRob gets this season. So far he was 24, that’s $24. Nice start but now we’ve stalled for another
week or so. When Houdini is activated, he'll pick up where he left off. We also have pledged $1 for every Save he
gets this season. But that’s only the
beginning…There’s more…
We decided that instead of making profit on our
Bleedingyankeeblue.com shirts, we would in fact give alittle back. So we decided to give an addition $1 for
every
Bleedingyankeeblue.com shirt you purchase here at BYB. At the end of the season we will present a
check to
High Socks for Hope with all of the money we’ve collected. Sure, we’re not reinventing the wheel here,
but we are giving back to people in need.
Throughout our campaign, many have sent in their pictures
wearing their
Bleedingyankeeblue.com shirts.
Our latest batch came from Joey and Charles Moses who were literally
taking pictures wearing their BYB shirts all over New York during their visit (Read
BYB, AUSTRALIA & THE BIG APPLE.) We also had Sweet Lou and Nicole, Evelyn and Trey send in
their pictures, plus a ton of other people as well. Gotta love it! We do!
Our latest comes from one of our favorite authors,
Luigi Squeegee, the author of
Clubhouse Confidential now in paperback. Here he is with his son below. Squeegee looks good in that shirt and so can
