ARE THE STEINBRENNERS SELLING THE YANKEES?

Could it be the Winds of Change? I was always a fan of the old Scorpions song the Winds of Change and every time I hear about some possible major move, like for instance this report HERE that the Steinbrenners are reportedly interested in selling the New York Yankees after the Dodgers made their record sale recently (Read HERE), you need to wonder, could this story actually be true? Rumors usually are true after all...
As the report goes: "Citing 'multiple baseball and finance sources,' the newspaper said the family was 'exploring the possibility' of putting the Yankees on the block, a move that apparently had tongues wagging on Wall Street.

'There has been chatter all around the banking and financial industries in the city for a couple of weeks now,' a 'high-level' baseball source said, while the report estimated that bidding for the Bronx Bombers could top $3 billion. "

Randy Levine has come out saying this is just a rumor. "The Steinbrenners are not selling the team."

That being said, we need to stay tuned to this...besides in the meantime...anyone want in with me? We just need $3 billion....
