The Bergen Record put together a career highlight list of the great Mariano Rivera in today's paper and I wanted to bring it to all of you. Enjoy!
- May 17, 1996: Rivera records his first save, against the Angels. It's the first of 68 games he saves for Andy Pettitte.
- October 27, 1999: Mariano completes his World Series dominance of the Atlanta Braves (6 saves, o.oo ERA).
- October 26, 2000: Rivera put the finishing touches on the Subway Series victory over the New York Mets.
- July 11, 2006: Save #400 is a 2 innings stint against the Chicago White Sox.
- July 28, 2009: Save #500 comes against the Mets in a Subway Series game at Citi Field.
- September 13, 2011: Save #600 comes against the Mariners in Seattle.
- September 19, 2011: Record setting save #602 comes via a perfect 9th inning in a 6-4 victory over the Minnesota Twins at the Stadium.
