Rickey Henderson and Don Mattingly, these are some of my heroes as a kid and this 1987 WPIX promo gave me chills. Look for more of these as I find them, they are classics.

Rickey Henderson was a great player, and won elsewhere, but was more hindrance than help to the Yankees, and represented everything that was wrong with what sports became from 1980 (his first full MLB season) onward. To think we gave up Jay Howell and Jose Rijo for him, and then traded him away for... Greg Cadaret?
