According to MLB Trade Rumors, The Yankees seem interested in lefty reliever J.C. Romero, who's a free agent. Romero was with the Phillies for 3 years, is 34 years old and has had some injuries including back and elbow.River Ave Blues reported earlier that: "Romero also walked (42) more guys than he’s struck out (40) since 2009, and lefties have gotten him to the tune of a .362 wOBA during that time. "
Obviously is the Yanks are looking at this guy, the free agent market's looking pretty slim.
