CERVELLI WANTED & CERVELLI MAY BE TRADED

Interesting note involving Francisco Cervelli. The Yankees, who were considering Cisco as a backup, may actually find a match to unload the catcher.  Wow! This came out of no where!

According to Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish:

So what does this mean? Well, it means I want Chris Sale for Cervelli... but that won't happen. Even Drew Silva of Hardball Talk states simply: "He probably won’t fetch a high-impact return." Hey... one can dream, can't one?

It also means that with Brian McCann at the helm and guys like Austin Romine and Gary Sanchez and JR Murphy waiting to be backup catcher for the mighty New York Yankees... Cervelli is expendable.

So in other words, do what you have to do if you're Yankee brass. This is business and let's be frank, I hated the way Cervelli dealt with the Biogenesis scandal.
