CURTIS GRANDERSON IS ABOUT TO REJECT SOMETHING...

and it ain't a date at the prom... you know what I mean?

Curtis Granderson has rejected the qualifying offer from the New York Yankees, and will now become a free agent.  This is not a surprise ladies and gentlemen...

According to several sources, but we'll use the New York Post on this one, "Curtis Granderson is going to turn down the qualifying offer of $14.1 million from the Yankees... Granderson believes there is a multi-year deal available even though he will turn 33 in March and is coming off a season devastated by injuries."

Now look, don't get crazy...things could change.  The Yankees can still keep Granderson. The likelihood of that happening though is unlikely.  Why? Because he's gonna want a multiple deal and they will probably only want to sign him for 1 year.

If anything else happens, we will tell you, but consider this the end of the Curtis Granderson chapter in the Bronx... sad but true.
