First Bobby Abreu (Read BOBBY ABREU COULD SIGN WITH THE RED SOX?), now Javier Vazquez...seriously.

According to Victor Ramos of Solo Beisbol HERE, and translation below, the Red Sox checked out Vazquez who is looking to get back to a contender in the major leagues.

"EXCLUSIVE INFO << --- On Friday will be the "scouts" of the # RedSox and # Nationals Javier Vazquez seeing right at # SolaMorales."

You have to appreciate what the Red Sox are doing.  It's more about former Yankee players.  They signed some big free agents and now are filling the holes with veteran experience.  Who knows what will happen to Vazquez. It has been reported however that the Sox are unlikely to sign Abreu and the "look in" was merely for "background work", whatever that means... read HERE.

I appreciate the aggressiveness of the Sox right's much more than the Yanks, you have to admit.
