JOBA & THE YANKEES AGREE!

Truth be told, in this world of slow moving Yankee moves... the deal between Joba Chamberlain and the Yankees needs to be announced, even though to many of you, it really doesn't mean anything.  Still, we here at BYB have an obligation... to bring you Yankee news... and to sometimes even be sarcastic... that time is now...snicker snicker.

The deal is a 1 year deal and it's worth $1,875,000.  He avoided arbitration.  According to ESPN (HERE), "The non-guaranteed contract gives Chamberlain a raise of $200,000 and contains performance bonuses for games finished."

And there you have it... Go Joba... GO!
