Just wanted to keep you in the loop for yet another injury report in Yankeeland. We're like the horse that keeps getting beaten...we get it, we suck right now... do you really need to keep piling on?
Lefty sensation Manny Banuelos is back on the disabled list with elbow soreness. That full story is HERE.
According to Bryan Hoch and Steven Miller "The DL stint is the second of the season for Banuelos, 20, who
previously battled a back injury. Banuelos is 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA in six
starts at Triple-A..." Doesn't exactly sound like a pitching phenomenon. Whatever, hopefully the kid gets back to health.
Eduardo Nunez is also on the DL, he has a sore right thumb. You remember last week we reported that in HOW DO WE STOP NUNEZ FROM MAKING ERRORS? NO IDEA. Nunez, according to Hoch has been "placed on the seven-day Minor League disabled list by Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre."
Holy Hell...does it get better...ever?
