YES, SAVAGE HUMILIATION IS BACK!

Sunday was just as lopsided as the rest of the regular season was. On paper, the matchup of Max Fried and Trey Yesavage looked like a good game for the Yankees to tie the series up. Of course, it's never that easy and it ended as a reoccurring nightmare.

So much for the idea that once October hits, the regular season doesn't matter anymore. It's supposed to be clean slate as the cliche does. It looked just like the regular season though, so that's obviously a load of crap. Rogers Centre is the Yankees kryptonite. It was in the regular season and it still is. The Yankees picked up right where they left off, completely ineffective and embarrassed in Canada.

The Blue Jays are still playing like the best team in the AL East. The Yankees are still playing like a lost team with no leadership or basic execution. They have no answer to how to beat the Blue Jays and this should surprise no one. The calendar flipped to a new month but the results are still disappointing.

In a pivotal game, Fried fizzles and Aaron Judge still underperforms in clutch situations. The Blue Jays tested his arm in the regular season and they did it again. Not that they shouldn't because any team would do the same thing. It's just frustrating to see the Yankees crumble yet again.

But the worst part about watching all of this is knowing that in the end nothing is going to change. We want change. We want Aaron Boone to be fired, but he's the perfect puppet so he will be safe even if the Yankees lose again on Tuesday. Then there is Brian Cashman who has not lived up to expectations of building a World Series team since 2009. He's not going anywhere either because Hal Steinbrenner foolishly believes in him because he doesn't have any real baseball brains to see otherwise.

Basically, nepotism is alive and well in this organization. I am frustrated beyond belief. The Yankees fell to a rookie pitcher because that's what they do best and now we have to hope and pray to avoid a sweep at home.

At this point, just blow it all up....it can't get any worse. Fire everyone!
