The Minnesota Twins have bolstered their pitching depth by signing veteran left-hander Anthony Misiewicz to a minor league contract.
Misiewicz, who has pitched in the majors over the past five seasons, made a brief appearance for the New York Yankees in 2023, logging one inning of relief on June 19 before being sent back to Triple-A.
During his time with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Misiewicz posted a 3.90 ERA over 55 1/3 innings, surrendering eight home runs. Despite his solid performance, he was designated for assignment and removed from the Yankees' 40-man roster in September.
Now with the Twins, Misiewicz aims to revitalize his MLB career and bring his experience to Minnesota's pitching staff. The move offers a fresh start and a new opportunity for the seasoned reliever.
Good luck, bro.
