I never liked the guy. I'm sure he is a great dude, but in the world of the New York Yankees, we really needed that guy that did the things that the big boppers did not do, and while Tyler had the body type for speed and dynamic plays and doubles hitting, he just really didn't ever deliver... and now it's over, the Yankees got rid of him. And for me? All is right in the world.

Over 5 seasons with the Yankees? This kid batted .212. Think about that. Think about what we could have done with that spot 5 years ago if we cut him then.
Whatever the case, California is where Wade is, and believe me, I see it coming... when the Yankees play the Angels, Wade will burn us with outstanding games. That's the way it always happens. On the Yankees however, he just couldn't break through.
