Stockpiling pitching is a good thing. I have always believed that. Collecting youth to build a solid farm system, AND stockpiling pitching is better. Cashman is doing everything right the last few days.
The latest comes for the Yankees PR department. We just picked up a lefty in Reiver Sanmartin from the Texas Rangers in exchange for righty Ronald Herrera.
The @Yankees today announced they acquired minor league LHP Reiver Sanmartin from Texas in exchange for RHP Ronald Herrera.— Yankees PR Dept. (@YankeesPR) November 20, 2017
Sanmartin is a lefty which is a bonus, he's Columbian and his numbers are OK with a 2.27 ERA in the minor leagues last year for Spokane. He's also only 21 years old. I love this.
Just wanted to keep you all in the loop here at BYB.
Yanks are making moves. 2 minor league lefties in 2 days.
