BOTH FRAZIER & RUTHERFORD ON THE SHELF

A minor, (pardon the pun) setback with a few of our minor leaguers and I wanted to bring the story to your attention.  Relax, these injuries are not life threatening, but still, these guys are our future and so I wanted to make sure you knew about them.

Turns out Clint Frazier was just placed on the DL and he'll join Blake Rutherford. MiLB.com has the story:

"New York's top prospect Clint Frazier went on the seven-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain Sunday afternoon while No. 6 Blake Rutherford reportedly will sit out the remainder of the regular season, also with hamstring trouble. ...

MLB Pipeline's Jonathan Mayo reported Rutherford suffered a hamstring injury that is "nothing too serious" but he will probably be sidelined until the instructional league."

And that's what we have for you right here on BYB.

Don't worry... no one died... life goes on, but injuries do happen.
