Big stuff happening in Yankeeland. The All-Star selections were made, and 3 Yankees are in!
Bryan Hoch from MLB.com writes:
"The Yankees will have three representatives on the American League roster at the 2016 All-Star Game, with Carlos Beltran, Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller selected for the July 12 contest at Petco Park.
Selected for his ninth All-Star Game, Beltran has never represented the AL in the Midsummer Classic, earning his previous selections with the Astros, Mets and Cardinals. He entered play on Wednesday batting .296 with 19 home runs and 53 RBIs in 77 games...."
Look, this hasn't been the best season, but little things like this make me happy. Congrats to the boys! I'm looking forward to July 12th!
