REMEMBER PHIL COKE? ME NEITHER

I'm kidding Phil Coke, don't get mad at me, it's a joke!

Quick note about former Yankee Phil Coke, who was a member of the Chicago Cubs.  Well... not anymore.

According to Chris Cotillo of SBNation, Coke was just released:
Hardball Talk wrotes of Coke:

"Coke signed a one-year, $2.25 million deal with the Cubs this offseason and quickly pitched his way out of their bullpen plans by allowing seven runs in 10 innings despite good secondary numbers."

Now here's the good news for Coke. Phil's a lefty. There is no question he will get picked up quickly and good for him.

I always liked Coke. I liked him alot as a Yankee and was sad to see him go, but that's baseball, what are you gonna do?

Anyway... that's that.  Good luck to Coke.
