ERUPTION!

Remember that song? Eruption?  It was off the Van Halen album, titled smartly, Van Halen.  The Yankee bats erupted today against the Phillies.  You won't believe this when I tell you... in fact, make sure you're sitting down... Stephen Drew had 3 hits! I KNOW! CRAZY RIGHT?

But that's not all, according to Todd Zolecki and Bryan Hoch:

"...Jake Diekman allowed seven runs on six hits and a walk in just one-third of an inning as the Yankees broke up a scoreless tie in the fifth..."

RBIs today from Chris Young, Mark Teixeira, Carlos Beltran and Tyler Austin. Drew, Austin, Young and Brendan Ryan all had doubles.

And what about Michael Pineda? Well, he went 5 innings, all scoreless and struck out 5.  The Yanks won in a shut out.

Final: Yankees 10 - Phillies 0

I leave you with this:

Just so you know... I can Air Guitar the shit out of this. Try me.
