With that out of the way, ARod is currently preparing for the 2015 season. According to the New York Post, ARod has been seen at University of Miami, and UCLA hitting off of a tee, but not taking live pitches, taking grounders at third base, and using the weight room.
Considering the fact that he is sitting out all of 2014, the idea of him keeping fit, and training is a good thing. He's keeping his muscles ready to get back out on the field. And, like I said, he WILL be back in 2015. According to FOX Sports News, Hal Steinbrenner has already expressed his expectations to see ARod out on the field in 2015. "Alex is a hard worker. Alex will be ready. And we'll just have to go from there. See how he does and how he responds to playing every day in spring training."
Look, I know how a few fans think of him. I'm not one to base my opinions on a bias viewpoint. I've been able to work the ARod beat from the beginning, because I call a spade a spade and the truth is, ARod is a good third baseman. If he could stay healthy, he'd be an asset to the team.
Whatever your personal feelings toward him may be, he's still a part of the team. And like Casey has said "Whatever he did, he's not a murderer."
