NO... IT'S NOT A NEGATIVE CALF...

No, no... It's the MRI that came back negative, in regards to Jacoby Ellsbury's calf. It is NOT a negative calf that came back from the MRI.  Oh boy...

That's what happens when you read a headline and don't read the rest of the article.  That's right lady, you! The one with the yellow winter cap on line at the Shoprite tonight reading it on your phone... What planet are you on?

To be honest, I didn't know what the hell that girl was talking about tonight, but at the same time, I knew that the MRI on Jacoby Ellbury calf strain came back negative.  I ignored her. I let her blab gibberish to her boyfriend with the Yankee hat on sideways and continued putting my eggs and milk on the checkout belt.  It was comedy... I should have posted it. But that's OK. It's clear she'd only read the headline anyway... she'd never even see herself on BYB.

Anyway, the news is Ellsbury is OK and that comes from Chad Jennings at LoHud who writes: "Jacoby Ellsbury was sent for an MRI today. Joe Girardi said the results came back negative, and Girardi remains confident Ellsbury will be available on Opening Day."

Expect Ellbury to take BP soon.  Expect him to be fine, even though we asked this question the other day, before the MRI: Read  SHOULD WE BE WORRIED ABOUT ELLSBURY'S SORE CALF?

Don't panic... it will all be OK....

Geez... can you imagine if Ellsbury owned a negative calf? How frightening would that be? I'd be worried, he'd charge...
