Quick note about our friend and former New York Yankee Cory Wade.
According to KFFL.com, "The Kansas City Royals signed free-agent RP Cory Wade (Rays) to a minor league deal Friday, Nov. 22."
The guy just keeps on getting jobs and hopefully he'll get up to the big show again. He's a good soldier and had a good run with the Yankees in 2011 when he went 6-1 with a 2.04 ERA in 39.2 innings, and 40 games. He hasn't been in the majors since he left the Yanks after a terrible 2012. That doesn't mean he can't rebound, which is why the Royals are taking a chance on him with a minor league contract.
Good Luck Cory.
