KING TEX!

Mark Teixeira is definitely back! In this series alone he has 2 home runs and 7 RBIs. Tonight, he homered in the 3rd inning from the right side and he just looks real good at the plate right now.  Sure, tonight it wasn't only Tex, it was David Phelps too.  The Yankees looked good tonight... it's good to be a Yankee fan right about now.

The Yankees scoring started and ended in the 3rd.  Ichiro knocked in Lyle Overbay and then Mark Teixeira hit his 3 run shot. That was it and that was just enough.

The pitching broke down like this: David Phelps pitched 6 innings and allowed 1 hit. He struck out 7.  As Borat would say, "Nice!" That's what we need to continually see from Phelps.  Joba Chamberlain game in and gave up a 3-run home run and shortly after that, was booed.  Not sure if that was fair, but when the score became 4-3, it was alittle too close for comfort. Boone Logan and DRob then came in and bridged to Mo who got his 21st save of the season.  Mo is rolling, no doubt about it.

Final tonight: Yankees 4 - Indians 3

We just need to keep it going!  Go Yanks!
