IF CHIEN-MING WANG, I DON'T WANNA BE RIGHT

Chien-Ming Wang definitely wants a shot as a New York Yankee this season.  Why do you ask? Because Wang had an opportunity yesterday to opt-out of his minor league contract with the Railriders if he felt like it was time to go and he didn't.  The reason was he's working toward a major league contract and reports were that he would only opt-out if he was offered one. There were 6 teams rumored to be "keeping tabs" on him.  According to Nick Cafardo late yesterday, Wang was staying. He Tweeted:
So there you have it.  The next time Wang can opt-out will be June 30th.  That was confirmed by Donnie Collins of the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders, HERE.

I truly hope to see Wang back in the pros and hopefully with the Yankees.  Not only will it be good for the club, but talk about a confidence builder, right?  This is a guy that was a big time pitcher for the Yanks and then, it fell apart quickly and he's had a helluva time trying to get back.

I hope the Yanks take a chance on him.
