" Robinson Cano, who is in line to become the most sought-after free agent next fall, has decided to change agents and walk away from Scott Boras, according to sources."BYB is reporting that Robinson Cano will soon sign a big deal with the New York Yankees and be done with it! Why? Because if there is one thing I know in reading and watching these franchise players all my life, there is something that happens to half of them and something that happens to the other half. The first half want to be the richest players ever and with it, comes criticism, fan hate, jealousy and a new expectation... they MUST deliver. Then, there is a second half... the half that realizes that they have a good thing with the team they're with and while they could make millions and millions of dollars going into the free agent market... they need to step back and understand that they could probably do the same thing with the team they're with, if they just took a deep breath. That's where I hope Cano's head's at right now.

It's speculation on my part, but I believe the Yankees and Cano love each other. I believe that without Boras in the way... there could be movement on a contract soon with the Yankees and Cano... and if you're a Yankee fan, you hope so too.
