ROGER CLEMENS HOPES YOU FORGET

Today Suzyn Waldman’s favorite person, Roger Clemens (proof HERE), will be pitching in a game for the Sugarland Skeeters of the Atlantic League. He’s 50. Why is he doing this? I’ve had a theory for awhile and now more and more people are starting to agree.
Roger Clemens will appear on the 2013 Hall of Fame ballot along with Barry Bonds. BUT if Clemens throws 1 pitch in a Major League game before the season ends his eligibility gets pushed off for another 5 years. So he’s pitching in a minor league game... I smell a comeback!

In fact, the Kansas City Royals said they will have a scout on hand for the game today, read HERE. And not to be outdone, the Astros have said they'd welcome Clemens back into the Houston clubhouse...read HERE.

Clemens is so full of himself that he thinks if he doesn’t get in on the first ballot it somehow lessens the feat. By delaying his eligibility he not only distances his name from Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa, but he also distances himself from everyone’s recent memory. If he continues to lay low, maybe by 2018 we’ll all have forgotten about the perjury charges and everything else surrounding him and just remember him for being the dominant pitcher he was. Hey Roger, this is the Internet age... good luck with that!
