The Yankees won 3-2 tonight. Derek Jeter was 2-4 with a double. Curtis Granderson cranked out his 19th home run of the season and put the Yankees ahead for the rest of the night...he had 2 RBIs. and Alex Rodriguez was 1 for 3 with an RBI...that's was the first run for the night.
You know, I'm pretty happy with Hiroki Kuroda. He was impressive tonight and I only say that because he stepped up after a rough outing by CC Sabathia last night. Kuroda pitched 6 innings, allowed 9 hits and only 2 runs. He also struck out 8. Again...the bullpen held it together wonderfully. David Robertson who? I kid, but let's face it, the pen has been terrific without Robertson and without Mariano Rivera... Bravo. Rafael Soriano got his 11th save tonight. RaSo is in the zone....gotta love it.
6 in a row boys...and all is well in Yankeeland! More tomorrow!
