A big night in Atlanta and I'm damn proud of my New York Yankees. There were major opportunities that the Braves had and they just could not get the runners home. It was like the Yankees 2 weeks ago. Leaving runners in scoring position is never a good thing. Thank God it was the Braves tonight and not the Yankees.
The Yankees won 3-2 tonight.
Derek Jeter was 2-4 with a double.
Curtis Granderson cranked out his 19th home run of the season and put the Yankees ahead for the rest of the night...he had 2 RBIs. and
Alex Rodriguez was 1 for 3 with an RBI...that's was the first run for the night.

You know, I'm pretty happy with
Hiroki Kuroda. He was impressive tonight and I only say that because he stepped up after a rough outing by
CC Sabathia last night. Kuroda pitched 6 innings, allowed 9 hits and only 2 runs. He also struck out 8. Again...the bullpen held it together wonderfully.
David Robertson who? I kid, but let's face it, the pen has been terrific without Robertson and without
Mariano Rivera... Bravo.
Rafael Soriano got his 11th save tonight. RaSo is in the zone....gotta love it.
6 in a row boys...and all is well in Yankeeland! More tomorrow!
