WHY WE HAVE THE PERFECT OUTFIELD

I'd put our outfield against anyone's in baseball. How can you not? Just looking at them you see they have the ultimate weapons an outfield needs. Speed and Power.
Curtis Granderson: the Centerfielder is about to officially be a New York Yankee this season. Don't know what I mean? How's this...last year he was just warming up, getting used the surroundings, adjusting his stance and becoming familiar with the Yankee way. There will be bases to steal and home runs to hit now that he's comfortable.

Brett Gardner: He's doing exactly what I wanted him to do, get on base and run run run. Yes, he's had a little slow start, but let this guy go and damage will be done. The way he bunts is the ultimate key to snagging an infield single and slapping the ball is his signature. Look for him to get comfortable by May and never looking back.Nick Swisher: He can always man my outfield. He may have slowed down a little but the reality is, he still has the heart and drive like he did when he roamed the Oakland outfield. His arm in right isn't half bad either. Plus, once my man gets into a rhythm, power will be a factor. He will do damage, but give him a grace period. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Jesse Schindler, one of our writers for BYB raised an interesting point in YANKEES PROJECTIONS 2011: THE OUTFIELD. He believes Swish could struggle a bit not being in the 2 hole every game like last year. I believe that could be a factor, but we're just gonna have to wait and see.
Andruw Jones: Already a home run tonight and it's April. Look, Jones isn't what he once was, but he can field and still hit and as a fourth outfielder, I like him, especially in 2011. Jones could either be a tremendous asset or a tremendous flop. I don't believe flop is in the Yankees vocabulary and it won't get to that. But, I've said this early on and it's simple thinking but true: If Jones gets consistant at bats, he will get his timing and power back and open a lot of eyes. If the Yankees let him decay on the bench, it won't happen. Trust me.

Look, stack us up against the Sox, the Orioles, the Jays, the Angels. We're looking damn good BYB freaks. Here comes New York, hide the children. We're about to kick ass and take names.
