BUM ELBOW SIDELINES EOVALDI
Quick note and I know you know about it already. That's because you guys are incredibly in tune with what's going on in Yankeeland. Nathan Eovaldi, one of the most effective pitchers this season, is now on the shelf. There's something going on with his elbow.
According to ESPN and our friend Andrew Marchand: "The Yankees are shutting down starter Nathan Eovaldi for two weeks after an MRI on Monday revealed right elbow inflammation, the team announced. It is unclear whether Eovladi will be able to pitch the rest of the regular season or in the playoffs."
It seems like very time they want to get a 6 man rotation going, something happens. First CC Sabathia... now Nasty Nate.
Get well soon Nate, we need you down the stretch, that's for sure.
