I'm not kidding... and what a stand up thing to do for such a great man! Foley's New York Pub & Restaurant will rename their joint "Mariano's" starting today, September 20th until Thursday, September 26th. That is class.
According to Foley's owner and Bleeding Yankee Blue friend Shaun Clancy, Foley's will "raise a banner over its facade during the New York Yankees final home stand from Friday, Sept. 20th to Thurs, Sept. 26th.
Foley's will donate proceeds of the “Broken Bat Burger” – Foley’s bacon cheeseburger cut in half – to the Mariano Rivera Foundation throughout September."
I love what Foley's has done with the Yankees over the years. I hope everyone gets there and buys that Broken Bat Burger and supports Foley's and Mo!
