GUESS WHERE BOONE LOGAN IS GOING?

No... not to hell, but it's pretty much hell's neighbor is you're a pitcher.  Dr. James Andrews.  That's right.  As one of my friends says, "Anytime you pay a visit to Dr. James Andrews, it's not a good thing." Let's be honest... if Boone Logan is visiting Dr. Andrews and you're a Yankee fan... it's a good thing.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but I have not ever been too fond of Logan.  I have never found him to be truly dynamic as a lefty specialist and I'm actually shocked the guy's been a Yankee for as long as he has.

According to Andy McCullough of the Star Ledger, HERE, "Logan flew to visit Andrews’ office in Pensacola, Fla. for an examination. Logan hasn’t pitched since Sept. 6, when he gave up a crushing grand slam to Red Sox first baseman Mike Napoli. Logan experienced tightness in his elbow during that at-bat.

The discomfort in his arm has gone down slightly in recent days, manager Joe Girardi said. But the team wanted to be sure..."

So, the injuries, the problems for the Yankees continue.  I am under the assumption that if the Steinbrenner's are not monitoring the injuries on this Yankee club, they need to start... and fast.  There are too many players hurt, there is no logical explanation for it.  I understand overuse and in Logan's case, that could be the case, but with hamstrings, wrists, elbows, calves... something is not right.
