WHY JETER JUST KEEPS BREAKING RECORDS

This is pretty amazing, and also means that I am older than dirt because you know I grew up idolizing Rickey Henderson. Tonight Derek Jeter had a leadoff home run against Baltimore Orioles pitcher Wei-Yin Chen. According to Bryan Hoch of MLB, read HERE, It's the 25th of his career passing Rickey Henderson and has become 1st on the Yankees All-Time list in that category.

According to Hoch: "Henderson had 24 from 1985 until he was traded to the Athletics in 1989."

Last season Jeter passed Rickey Henderson on the Yankees all-time steals list, Read HERE. Rickey led the Yankees with 326 before Jeter passed him in that category. Hoch reminds us of what Jeter said when he passed Henderson in Yankee steals: “It’s hard to believe. Rickey was only here what? A year-and-a-half?”

Come on... that's hilarious.
