Just a quick note about Ike Davis... he's not coming to the New York Yankees. Instead he's going elsewhere and that's now officially been tweeted by our friend Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com:

Oh well, Ike Davis, NOT a Yankee. Too bad, he would have definitely been up this season as Mark Teixeira would most likely get hurt and Greg Bird is done for year. Oh well...

Why waste money on someone who can't hit major league pitchig. Used to be a huge ike Davis fan but he has had plenty of opportunities and even in his huge mets season his flaws were there. Better he is on the rangers.
