When you have a bad day... sometimes you think about the good things to help you through it.  What happened today that was good?  Well, Mason Williams hit his first major league home run for the Yanks. That was pretty cool.  Oh yeah, the Baltimore Orioles had their annual Food Drive, and Jim Palmer retweeted our story about it today... that's pretty cool too.

Hmm... other than that... nothing.  The Yankees were literally decked in Baltimore... and I kind of can't believe it.

Michael Pineda just didn't have it.  He went 4.1 innings, he gave up 9 hits and 6 runs, 5 of them earned. He struck out only 2.  Some days you wake up and you realize you should have went back to bed.  Pineda's day was today.

The Yankees only scored 3 runs to the Orioles 11.  We were 2-12 with runners in scoring position.  We left 10 on base.  In other words, we sucked all around.  Hey, it happens... sometimes you just need to know that there is always a game tomorrow.  We're at that point...

The Yankee run scoring happened like this. In the 3rd, Alex Rodriguez singled in our first run.  Then in the 4th, Mason Williams hit a 2 run homer.  Yup... that's it.

Look, forget it.  We stunk up the joint tonight... we move on to tomorrow now.

Final: Orioles 11 - Yankees 3
