JETER TAKEN OUT OF GAME, INJURY POSSIBLE

UPDATE 11:40pm est: Jeter spoke to the media after the game tonight. He refused to get specific about his bone bruise but did say something that I like "You either play or you don't." Jeter clearly wants to be in every game, you have to love that about him. Here is some of that Q&A with Jeter:  
UPDATE 11:13pm est: It appears that there is a bone bruise for Derek Jeter in his left ankle according to the beat writers and Bob Lorenz.  Lorenz says Joe Girardi says he thinks Derek will try and play tomorrow.

My heart just sank.  Derek Jeter was running out a grounder tonight against the Sox and as he landed on first base, it appeared he tweaked something in his leg.  If this is an injury, there will be more serious problems for my New York Yankees.  We will update this post here at BYB as the night goes on when we know something.  Say a prayer tonight Ladies and Gentlemen...say a prayer.
