CHAD QUALLS IS A NEW YORK YANKEE

Just a quick update. The Yankees have acquired Chad Qualls from the Philadelphia Phillies for either cash considerations of a player to be named later. Read HERE.  There is not much more to this story unless you want to speculate that the acquisition of Qualls could mean a move in the bullpen.  Possibly Cory Wade or perhaps David Phelps or DJ Mitchell gets moved back down to the minor leagues or in a trade.  We'll just have to see.

I'm not overall impressed with Qualls.  With the Phillies this year, he was 1-1 with a 4.60 ERA in 34 games. He had 19 strikeouts.  Look, you never know, when guys come to the Bronx, many up their game.  We'll have to see.

Welcome Chad!
