I've never been a big fan of Aaron Boone the manager because the more he talks the more moronic I think he is. While Boone is doggy paddling trying to save face he is trying to convince all of us that the Yankees are failing because of the fans who make this team profitable and the media who are paid to report about just how much the Yankees suck.
Yup, you read that right HERE....it's our fault. Speaking the truth is hurting this teams feelings and causing them to collapse right in front of our eyes. The Yankees are freefalling and if we stopped giving criticism and speaking the truth maybe this wouldn't happen. Because let's ace it....there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE causing this team to fail. Shame on all of us....
And can we stop the stupidity now? Seriously. We all know there are TONS of things wrong with this team and many reasons why they are underperforming. We all see there is absolutely ZERO team chemistry here. We all see that Aaron Judge is carrying the team and so-called "ACE" Gerrit Cole just isn't living up to his title or his contract. Why on earth should Judge stay here next year? This isn't a team built to win and doesn't have the leadership to help the team win either.
Oh and let's not forget how terrible Aaron Hicks has been all season and no, I am not going to give him fluffy compliments after he beat out that double play yesterday. Even a broken clock isn't broken twice a day....he's been a train wreck for far too long. Let's not forget that Isiah Kiner-Falefa has been a dreadful one-year stopgap at shortstop, Josh Donaldson has been useless and expensive and Giancarlo Stanton looks lost.
The Yankees aren't losing because of outside noise as Bonehead Boone wants to call it. Welcome to the bright lights of New York, where everything here is harder than we are real. Sorry your players are too engaged in social media instead of taking extra batting practice or field work. Sorry your players are soft and can't win. What about the elephant in the room....you and Brian Cashman? Your pathetic and unearned title have not helped this team. You are not a leader and you have had more than enough time to prove otherwise so it is time you accept reality.
The "outside noise" on this team starts with you and Cashman. Funny how Derek Jeter was a pro at eliminating distraction, huh? He did everything you couldn't do and had an amazing career because of it. He figured it out and was the leader that helped his teams win....you and the players should take some notes from him.
